Dr. Fahad Zafar
Dr. Fahad Zafar is a European Board-Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon with a keen interest in advanced contemporary techniques in surgical periodontics and implant therapy. Originally from Pakistan, he obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011 from Riphah International University. He began his career working at the renowned Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in the Surgical Oncology Department for two years before moving to Italy to pursue further education.
Dr. Zafar completed a full-time, three-year specialist training program accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) at the University of Turin. He earned a Master’s degree in Periodontics in 2017 and a Master’s in Implant Dentistry in 2018. His professional achievements include a Membership in Periodontics (MPerio RCSEd) and a Fellowship in Periodontics (FPerio RCSEd) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr. Zafar is also dedicated to dental education. He served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Malta, where he was recognised as an award-winning faculty member.
Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family and friends.
